Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • Online – you will need to register for Patient Access if you are not already a patient of the practice, please contact reception who will advise you. This is our preferred method
  • In person – drop your repeat slip in to reception having clearly marked the items required. This has to be in writing, have your full name and date of birth and all details of the medication required
  • By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you. We cannot send by post unless you supply the SAE

We do not accept repeat prescription requests by telephone

Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, at least every 6 months to a year to review their regular medications. Your doctor will advise you how long you can use the service for before being seen for a review.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow a minimum of 72 hours for processing prescriptions and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Do not leave it until the last minute to order your medication as due to the high volume of requests we receive each day, there could be a delay. If your request is urgent you will need to book an appointment to see the doctor.
